With the first film; Twilight the Puppet Saga, the story was a straight forward love story with some fun moments. Puppet New Moon is such a bigger story, with multiple locations and many characters, It was a big challenge to get all the key points addressed and still keep it fast paced, yet true to the original material. The goal was always to make it look like a kid’s production, but with big set pieces and jokes that the Twilight fans would appreciate.

We assembled a small crew, rented a video camera, built some sets in the backyard and even made a full-sized werewolf Puppet! Built – Shot – Edited in 4 weeks, on a tiny budget, we even managed to get a few visual FX in there. My home is now a mess of puppet bodies, costumes, werewolf fur and foam core sets. Making Puppet New Moon has been so much fun to get to the finish line; I truly hope that you get a kick out of it!

So the big question you may be asking is; why did we do this? The vast majority of the comments we have received have been overwhelmingly positive. So it just made sense to do the sequel to come out alongside the release of the theatrical film. Beware of spoilers because it’s pretty much going to give away the plot of the feature film. We have watched dozens of fan created Twilight videos and I hope that our puppets stand out of from the crowd, no small feat since there are loads of really good fan films! But the real reason to do this was because it is something I have been passionate about my whole life…PUPPETS. In the future I would love to do hundreds of puppet spoof/parody films as promotional videos for upcoming releases, especially horror film parodies!.

One last thing: the first puppet film has received over 700,000 views on YouTube. One of the biggest requests we have received was to make them available on DVD. So with Puppet New Moon we are working around the clock to make this happen.
