I had managed to forget Dead Heat existed... Thank you. Thank you SO much for reminding me.

Piscapo. Ugh.

I don't know why RotLD2 isn't in there - I love that one. It's the same movie as 1, but not. I just love that about it.

Night of the Comet needs to be higher on the list...

"I'm not crazy, I just don't give a fuck!"

Actually l thought Deadgirl was a pretty good... albeit truly disgusting. In the end, she got the only thing she wanted, and that spooky freekin kid... Well. And maybe not a zombie AS SUCH, still it would give a zombie student pause, I think. Some of the remakes of the old stand-bys have merit, but my favorite Zombie movie is Land of the Dead. Or the sadly under-recognized Mulberry Street. OR, just possibly, Dr Satan from House of 1,000 Corpses...is he still alive? dead? undead? Suitably hideous by anyone's standards, I should think. That's my list, and as always, it's just my opinion, l could be wrong... (but I don't think l am).

Dead Girl really?? Based on the fact that Glenda herself is a woman and the movies she liked were comedies how or why would you pick this for her?? One of the least funny most distasteful movies I have seen. But that is just my opinion. How about Dead & Breakfast she might actually enjoy that one.

FYI in an interview in Chicago @ the Music Box the lead actress said she didn't even consider Dead Girl to be a zombie movie.

Zombies.... are really important in my life. I love them! I even write a special Zombie Blog every single Thursday. So, I have quite a few opinions on the subject! However, if I had to chose only two... I'm not sure if I can, but here are my top choices.

If we can assume that said person has already seen original "Night of the Living Dead," then I agree with your choice of "Return of the Living Dead." That film honestly has to be one of the most influential zombie films to society. After all, it is the reason that people associate zombies with wanting to eat bbrrraaaaiiiinnnssss! I'm sad to see that you included RotLD 3 and NOT "Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave" which has a wonderful bright blue glowing drug called 'Z.' What kind of Repo fan are you? ;)

And for my second choice.... I'm going to have to take one off your list and say "Cemetery Man." That film is fantastic and it seems like a lot of people haven't even heard of it.

As an honorable mention to me, I would pick 'White Zombie.' I don't think the voodoo zombie should be discredited when talking about zombie movies! And that movie is a classic!
